A Lu E Masata - Acquaran greeting
Acquarans - Tribal race that are subjects of the Hynerian empire. They were left stranded by Rygel X on the planet Acquara and a device that stopped machinery of any kind from functioning was left hidden inside a boulder so they would be unable to leave the planet on their own

B:
Banik Slave Race - Stark's race - A race highly skilled at hiding their feelings. They can cloud or bury their thoughts so deep in thier mind that no one can access them, even by means such as the Aurora Chair. They can also "give" thoughts, share images and memories. Stark, at least, has a facial deformity. The top, right part of his skull and face is like liquid amber energy, and a part which he usually keeps covered, but frees to share the memories.
Barken out of Hezmana - Expression used in Jeremiah Crichton. No doubt the same sentiment as the human expression "Like a bat out of hell."
Bio-mechanoid - A living ship (part living being, part machine).
Blez (blez out) - Slang. Seems to mean "chill out", "cool your heels" or similar. Chiana vehemently told Pilot to tell Moya to blez out when the ship was still very anxious to leave Litigara and search for Talyn, but Zhaan had just been incarcerated.
Blotching - Curse word. Used by Furlow. E.g. - Upon Aeryn asking how long the repairs would take - "About twice as blotching long as if you weren't here."

Clorium - One of seven cargoes forbidden to be transported aboard a leviathan -- clorium numbs leviathans. It is a common element, an atmospherically induced isotope of Twinium. And it looks like very large grains of salt. (Lyneea used it in the food she'd prepared - it is known as Onlux on Denea)
Commerce Planet - A planet whose main activity is trade or commerce with other aliens
Control Collar - A harness-like collar fitted onto a leviathan in order to subjugate it.
Crank - Comparable to hell or crap. Used by Stark in The Flax - "They blasted the crank out of me."
Cryostasis - Freezing a species to isolate an abnormal reaction or occurance within its bodily systems and find the cause. In Thank God It's Friday, Again, Aeryn put Rygel into cryostasis at "105 below the Galarian frost point" to determine how to remove the toxins caused by the tannot root.
Cycle - approximately (slightly less than) one year

D:
Data Stores - Moya's database, memory.

Drak - Creature that lives in the cold of outerspace in a swarm "cloud", but requires great warmth to breed (This being why they took over Moya). They have several stages of development. The insectoid stage looks like a 2 foot long cockroach. Their queen is called the Monarch. To defend themselves, the Draks will take DNA samples of the beings around them and make clones.

It has been modifed with various alien tehnology, including a hetch drive, plasma thrusters and spare equipment from Moya. The Farscape 1 also now seats two, is self-sufficient for planetary take-offs and landings, and, since John has depleted his fuel from Earth, is now totally dependant on using the alien technology.
Fellip Nectar - Similar to beer. It is an alcoholic beverage made from a creature on Tarsis.
Flax, the - A magnadrift mesh 75 million zacrons long, placed deep in the Uncharted Territories by Zenetan pirates. It is invisible, undetectable, blocks communication, absorbs starlight, and traps anything that gets too close. The Zenetans loot the ships that get captured in the Flax, then melt them for scrap.
Food Cubes - The staple diet onboard Leviathans. Made from "surplus products" (I don't think we want a list of just *what* exactly those are ;) ) . Most any alien race can survive on them, very handy for a Peacekeeper prison transport to have in its cupboards.

A leviathan has no natural offensive weapons and its only natural defense is to StarBurst. Peacekeepers capture them and use them for transports.
Life Disc - A flat disc with a light that indicates someone's life force and links the owner to the person the disc represents, no matter where in the universe they are from each other. When the light expires, the person has died. Chiana had one implanted in her abdomen (for her brother, Neri).

Tadek - Somewhat like chess and checkers. A game of skill; includes bluffing, betting and strategic board moves. Crystalline blocks, stacked in different numbers, are moved around the board with a y-shaped wand from section to section. The section stopped on lights up and indicates how good the move made was.
Tannot Root - Grown, harvested on and exported from the planet Skykar. This is what Chakan Oil is made from. When eaten, the root acts like a drug, causing the consumer to feel happy, content and forgetful, as well as more than willing to stay on the planet and work the fields.

Over time, the Acquaran Priestans added to it, raising their own power and importance among the people as well as identifying the Hynerian dominar as their god, rather than ruler.

Weeken - approx. one week
Welnitz - Expletive. Used by Furlow. "You dumb welnitz."
Wormhole - Anamalous space phenomenon accidentally created by Crichton that shot him from Earth to unknown reaches of the universe. Wormholes can traverse extremely vast distances (also, theoretically, time), but the time spent getting from one side of it to the other is mere moments from the traveler's perspective.
Yenen - Staanz's species, also apparantly that of the Zenetan pirates. In Staanz's words, Yenens "aren't exactly cut from the basic mold." The female looks characteristically like a male anthropoid biped, but lacks the expected external genetalia.
